Dr. Rebecca Stenersen, DO, is a forensic psychiatrist licensed to practice medicine in the State of Florida and board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). She completed her residency training in General Psychiatry at HCA Florida JFK North Hospital and her fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System.
Through her specialty training, Dr. Stenersen has experience conducting psychiatric assessments for both civil and criminal matters, providing independent evaluations, expert testimony, and consultations for medico-legal purposes. In addition to her forensic experiences, she teaches and supervises residents and fellows and actively participates in research and academic writing within the field.
